What precautions can I take to avoid propane leaks?

to avoid leaks we recommend making sure to not run your tank low or empty. You can avoid this by regularly checking your tank level, going ono automatic delivery with your propane supplier or having your supplier install an propane tank monitor. The propane tank monitors will give an accurate reading of your propane levels on your phone or computer 24/7.

We also recommend yearly cleanings for your propane system. That way a professional can make sure everything looks good, nothing is faulty, and everything is up to date.

One thing you can do for an extra precaution is install a propane leak detector in your home. You can get more information about them through your propane provider, or they also sell them locally via Amazon, Home Depot, etc.
